    Could I use my Middleburn X-type Duo Chainset on my cyclocross bike, wit 42/38t, for example? What about chain line?

    What’s the rear spacing on your cx. Mine is 130 mm and the duo wouldn’t work.

    Nipper99 – The rear spacing is 135mm.

    Should be fine then with a 50mm chainline – my duo is 27/42.

    Nipper99 – Mine is 27/42, too. But I’d change the chainrings to 36/42, or sg like that.
