Looking for new brakes.

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the Marta and the Marta SL other than weight/materials?

Or if there should be anything else I should consider?

Upgrading from Mono Minis

I thought the SL just had the carbon lever. I used to have some but found them too inconsistant and lacked real power for my size, but I guess they are really lightweight xc brakes. That was a few years back.

Have had regular martas for last 3 years. Great brakes and no lack of power at all IME (100kg with 180ish front rotor).

yes i think the sl only has the carbon levers.

if your not too fussed on weight, save a few pennies and go for the Magura Louise instead.

i have them on both my bikes and have been reliable and have lots of power and feel.
