jwr, how did you find the switch from Pikes to Lyrik? Was it worth the cost for an extra 20mm?

@Burts – I already had the Lyriks on my Bullit (which was subsequently transformed into a DH bike), so I didn't pay to upgrade 20mm of travel. Having said that I do find the Lyrik to be a much nicer fork. Slightly more relaxed angles and really smooth coil sprung travel – nice.

I saw a set of coil U-Turn Lyriks in the local classifieds and couldn't resist. Well worth it, only had 1 ride but they're already inspiring more confidence on the downhills.

Heres mine! A few little things have changed now though, including the obligatory Thomson post! Trying to decide if i want to get some 36's/wotans or something else a bit longer, at the moment. I don't need too, but i just get bored easy 😆

Nice bikes, i'm thinking about replacing my dialled alpine frame with a heckler or bullit, can't make up my mind whether i'd prefer the lighter weight going up or the bigger suspension coming down.

Nice new set of highrollers ready to go for the weekend…
