  • Large photo prints anyone?

I’m after getting some large landscape type photos printed. They’ll be mounted and framed so not really interested in ‘poster prints’ or canvas prints.

Anyone have anyone they’ve used? Should I go to my local framer (who I’m likely to get it framed by) and ask who to use?

/edit – unless anyoe can vouch that a poster print really is on top notch photo paper. 40″ is probably just about big enough.

Can I hijack a little bit and tack on a supplementary question?

Looking to do similar but I do want canvas prints – A3 or maybe a tad bigger. Where’s best to get these done? The images are photographs, but likely to be HEAVILY processed and messed with.

Edit: ignore me. I ignored what the OP actually wrote so its fair enough

I’ve used DS Colourlabs before, and I’ll be using them again. Really, really good prices, excellent quality and quick delivery.

I’ve used http://www.myphotobook.co.uk/ on a few occasions, including a large canvas print – they’ve been very reliable, easy to use etc., I’ll almost certainly use them again at some time in the future.

I’ve used DSC and Loxley, both are good but Paul Grundy at UKVPRO (contact via FaceBook) must be the best printer out there. His knowledge of printing and the quality of work is exceptional.

I can do large print up to 1550mm wide, full colour. We usually print onto self adhesive vinyl but can print onto photo paper.
Our kit is set up for fairly quick output, we only have cmyk, and don’t run light cyan or light magenta or light black. Our print is very good but not as good as some of the more specialist photo printers.
