Depends on what you want to do: I've tried both and have a 2008 Zesty 514. Good for fast up and down, raced team 24 hr on it and its a very fine bike – only negative would be lack of pro pedal on the rear shock. The full carbon 2010 is stunning when I saw it in LBS-light and I expect damn quick.

The Spicy is a bit too much for 'round the woods style of riding with 160mm travel, but is fantastic when you get to the top of a hill and gravity is on your side…..

Iv had a S-works Enduro sl which was fantastic but im passing down to my girlfriends son for christmas im 13 stone and think 140mm of travel will be enough iv just ridden glentress on my spark and felt fine so what do you guys reckon ???

for that money, why not go custom/boutique? a lot of very fine bikes, that could be built for around 3k and would be imo your money better spent.
