bit late ask but welcome to MTBing and welcome to STW.
Simple question/equation- does riding it put a smile on your face? If so then it was a good purchase.

See other GT thread, they are a brand with a lot of heritage tarnished somewhat by first going bust and then being sold by halfords, which is enough to put us bike snobs off (same happened to Kona)…

I still have my aggressor 3 from some 6-7 years ago, great bike to start out. Within the year you'll feel the upgrade urge. Mines currently a commuter…still going strong.

Thanks chaps i collect it sunday, could anyone recomend the best paint protector from chips and cable rubs.

If you like it then it's a good bike.

I use clear self adhiesive puncture patches to protect against cable rub. I find the more rigid carbon ones don't fit too well round the curvature of the tubes. A neoprene rubber chain stay protector may be useful too.

I brought some helicoptor take off the net. I used the bike earlier as they did it a day earlier for me and its awesome its well quick goes up hills peice of urine. But 8th gear seems to be not tuned right, its clicking and making a funny noise, will halfords do it for free?
