    just got a question on my fox float 36`s when i push them down they obviously come back up but when they do come back up i can still pull up another 5 or 6 mil? is this normal there brand new so i thought i would ask 🙂

    I’m pretty sure it is normal, and I think they have a top out protection mechanism that you are pushing against. All IMO

    yea, i mean its something or nothing but they say you need to use most of the travel given 😛

    Compress all the way and measure the amount of travel you have.

    Several people seem to be having problems with the new Fox’s not achieving full travel.

    I sent mine back and got a refund.

    Yes, it’s a top out bumper. No forks I’ve ever measured actually give the full nominal amount of travel. It’s generally measured on the basis of having no spring in them and at full compression – so in use will never get the full amount of stated travel.

    Negative spring at the bottom of the spring leg, normal don’t worry, enjoy the new forks! 😀

    yea, i guess if u used full travel it would bottom out almost? so i guess that extra few mil stops that?

    Yes it’s to stop the fork topping out nastily.
