I think a lot of people mistake differing opinions, discussion and debate for "arguments".
It'd be a very boring place if we all agreed.
For the record, the Ski and Snowboard thread is at 880 posts without any arguments breaking out. (That may be because TJ doesn't ski)

For all the banter, debate, and odd argument on here, when folk actually need a bit of help they will find it. There is an underlying goodness here that I like a lot.
