    Nibali’s time on the Hautacam reported as 37:30. Which puts him 27th on this list. Hardly damning evidence

    I reckon the days of institutionalised, systematic doping are probably gone. But that’s not to say everybody is clean.

    On the whole it looks like performances have come down to a more realistic level. OTOH nobody’s been able to really take it to Nibali in the tour, and he seems able to do whatever’s required without showing too much strain. And I couldn’t help but think of the bad old days watching Majka smashing it up the hills.
