iPad mini screen has multiple cracks in it. Apple apparently want £154 for replacement, but seeing as we could get a new mini for £199 this hardly seems worthwhile.

Is there anywhere cheaper that anyone can recommend? Already miles out of warranty.

Thought that was iPhone not iPad.

Apple told me the (albeit full size) iPad screen was not replaceable and the service they were offering was a working iPad in exchange for my smashed one.

I did an iPhone screen myself. Never again. My eyesight isn’t good enough for the size of some of the screws.

My wife had her iPad screen replaced for around £80-£90 if I recall. It’s been absolutely fine. She used a place in Kidderminster I believe that she found online.

Would you believe she broke the screen on her iPad by accidentally dropping her iPhone onto it.
