I originally had a Hyprapak as it was cheaper then a CB. It lasted a year or two before it split. I then got a CB and it’s still going strong four years later so has been better value then the one that cost half as much. 😉

Gelert Strider, good quality and is litally the same as the CB Mule at 1/3rd the price – I have had mine for a few years now with no problems to report.

I got a Evoc jobbie for 35quid from cycle surgery. So you can get decent kit for not much if you look about.

Or if you want a bit more space for all day adventures or, if you’re like me and your bike is so unreliable you need a large amount of tools to keep it going, I’m quite happy with my one of these, the slightly bigger version.

    +another1 for decathlon
i picked this up in the sales a couple of weeks ago and am mighty impressed. Big enough that i can fit all the junk I obsessively need to take on a ride, or a change of clothes and my lunch to work, yet small enough not to really notice it. Plus the orange raincover is welcome extra high viz for the commute. Seems pretty well made too.

I got one (including bladder) for about 12 quid from lidl. Had it a few years and it’s been fine, I don’t use it as much as I did before purely because it’s too big for what I wamt to carry! One of the more comfortable bags I’ve used too.

Some stuff you shouldn’t really skimp on. Spend some money and get something decent. I bought myself a decent one last week, but as a result I can’t afford any riding gear. So it’s bollock naked with a really nice camelback tomorrow. It’d only get wet and muddy anyway.

How cheap are you feeling? The One I chucked straight in the bin on account of it being absolutely ****ing minging is still there. Want me to get the marigold on (naked otherwise, obviously, as I can’t afford clothes now) and go and have a root around?

The sacrifices I make for you….
