Im after a childs bike seat for my bike (orange R8 pro) the problem i got is that theres cables running along the top tube and one down the seat tube, anyone else had this problem? need some recomendations, worse case i will have to buy a new bike/frame 
not sure my wife will share my thought process.

i use a copilot limo with a ex1 disk rack and pannier mount seatpost clamp. before that i had a hamax siesta and fiddled it in to place to work
i find copilot and black burn ex1 disk more secure.
if you need i could post some hd pics of my set up so you can get a visual idea..
I had an Orange Gringo with cables in those places and used a Hamax Sleepy without any issues.

forgot to say the industry suggest kids be at least 9months old before carrying them in a seat but they also say as long as the child can hold there own head up by there selfs they should be fine, my son held his head up by himself from birth and was in the hamax by 6 months.
we also found that pram muffs and child carseat straps pads was good to use to add comfort.
I have a hamax siesta sitting in my shed doing nowt, I live in worcestershire 
Got a topeak one that goes on a bolt on rack (disc and non disc rack options).
Oddly the non disc rack fits my disc equipped 456 whereascthe disc one does not (its due to rack eyes being really close to the dropout but you need slim brakes to make it work - although i still manage 180 out back).
Can't fault it so far.
Our son is now nearly 3 and there's plenty of growing room left. Been using it from around 9 or 10 months.
The other thing i should have said was stick it on something sturdy. Mine used to be on a gas tubing hybrid and the weight of seat and son used to whip the rear triangle. After being tossed into some railings I bought the 456 frame.
Like others I have a Hamax on a bike with a seat tube cable (actually have the mounts on 2 bikes like that) - I did end up recabling one so that the cable fitted round the seat mount, but it's unlikely to be impossible.
