£1100 for a 1.2 polo with 2 years ncb and im twenty forkin eight!!
i cannot believe it.. sooo annoying, wish i could give it up 🙁
Mine went down this year, fairly significantly, as did the GFs, don't get all the 'prices going up' comments! 😕
Should be able get it cheaper than that. Same car 0 NCB living in Bolton and 26 year old. £1249 and thats monthly payments or £900 for all in one go.

I swear that car insurance companies just make the numbers up. Now i've only been driving for 4 months and was recently looking for a cheap car, you know a run around earn some no claims, get back and forth to work etc. While looking for a car every time I saw a possible i would check the insurance cost on confused.com, a few highlights were a 1lt polo at just under £680, a 1lt toyota yaris at over £1300 and a 1.3 kia rio for just over £600.
in the end i bought a nissan almera 1.5lt, and the insurance comes in at just under 800 notes. the only explanation i can think of is they just make it up.
