Nothing will change. Obama replaced Bush and ramped up the war in Afghanistan (getting stuck into Pakistan too) and not only did he keep gitmo open he stopped letting people out.

If Palin gets in it’ll be the same strategies.

Personally I don’t think the Republicans will choose anyone other than a reasonably heavyweight candidate, unless for reasons which I don’t understand they don’t want to win.
