As the title says. I’m a new member.

Unless they have their contact details in their profile (click their name), you can’t

You don’t. Some people put an email address in their profile though.

    Email in profile?

Otherwise, go to your nearest trendy coffee shop/IT support centre. Chances are your guy will be there.

Some of us even put our clickable email addresses in any classifieds ads, y’know, to make it easy for other people to contact us.

    Not many though…

Why would I want to PM someone? I only come here to feel superior! 😉

I think it’s far more worthwhile to discuss things in public view. That way everyone else can include their own ill-founded, unobjective view on the situation to stop you gaining a sensible impression about a subject.

Thanks chaps. Like I say, I’m new here. Most other forums I use you can PM people, quote posts etc.

Somebody mentioned they had a car to sell on an unrelated thread. I didn’t think it fair to hijack the OP’s thread by talking about the car.

    Cheers.

    😀

Joining a new forum is a bit like meeting someone new at the pub. First round, all polite and well mannered, second round…etc etc

You start a thread with the title “PAGING:….”

😉 Check the rules first though.

    quote posts

    You can do that 🙂

Just not whole ones as that quickly gets really annoying to read through.
