I bought my old Canon A85 following recommendations on here and it finally gave up the ghost a while back.

I’m looking for a new camera and can’t decide between the two Canon Powershots in the title.

I’ve seen the SX260 at a clearance price of £130 in PC World the other day and the reviews I’ve read rate them both about the same so is it woth the extra spend for the SX510 or should I go grab myself a bargain?

I love my S100 and at that price the SX260 is a steal.

Could be tempted to wait until the boxing day sales myself to see if it drops any more, to have a spare when my S100 dies

Yeah I did wonder if it was worth waiting.

Slightly concerned there won’t be any more reductions though as a sales guy I spoke to said they were reduced due to the SX280 being released.

Just looked into it and my S100 is better than the SX260.

But with the S120 out now the S110 might be worth a look at in the new year, currently it’s £230.

Also look at canon clearance on eBay. We got an sx260 for under £100, and lots of other bargains.
