Does anyone know anywhere in or near Portsmouth that carries a selection of full face helmets? I seem to have an awkward size head.

I measured my head and ordered a large 661 evolution. It arrived in the post and I tried it on. Too small, so I take it to the post office to send back. This is where it starts to all go wrong. Walking from the car park to the post office, the bottom of the 661 box gives way and the lovely shiny new helmet lands on the tarmac and now has 3 chips in it.

I then order an extra large, but it's still too small, so I will take this to the post office very carefully this time.

So, where can I go near Portsmouth to try on a range of helmets? I hired a variety of bikes and helmets in Les Gets last year, and don't remember having any problems, so maybe it's just the 661s that aren't a good match.

There's a CycleSurgery in Port Solent, isn't there? If they're like any of the rest of their stores, they'll have oodles of full face helmets in stock!
