What the best way to have them set up..iv got a Magicshine mj-808 that iv been using on my bars for a cpl of years and my son got me a solar storm (crap battery) for Christmas…should I use the solar storm on my helmet and leave the Magicshine on the bars or swap them round…the Magicshine might be a little heavy for the helmet.

What way do you have yours set up..

smaller lighter unit on the helmet preferably.

Although I find having the more powerful one on the bars gives better depth perception.

I’d suggest the SSX2 on the bars as it has the wider beam & 808 on your bounce to make use of its tighter beam to spot specific obstacles. Though I’d want to mount the 808 using something lower than the std mounts
