I've tried the threaded rod and washers thing and although it works it's still a faff. The cyclus press looks good but to fit a tapered headset you need to buy two of the buggers. Should I buy two or can I buy one and get the drifts elsewhere?

Hope make a 1.5" press that'll probably work with the Cyclus tool.

A Unior one would do it - not cheap but built like a tank

Spookily I've just ordered a set from Bike Discount in Germany as I couldn't source any in the UK. Since there's a £5 postage charge to the UK I ordered a set for semi-integrated headsets too to complete the set.

The order only went in yesterday, so obviously they haven't arrived and I can't comment on quality of service, but I had an email yesterday evening advising that the package was with the courier.
