    I had to reload windows XP onto my elderly laptop tonight, and my many (many many) google chrome bookmarks seem to have got lost.
    Please tell me there is a way of restoring them, the internetz has baffled me on this one, and please pitch any advice at ‘computer illiterate’ level.

    Did you log into chrome? It generally saves them in the cloud.

    Yes I logged in, nothing forthcoming from the cloud though 🙁
