Anyone got one? Thoughts/experiences?

Bump!!!

I have just built a 29er Trance which wasn’t your question I know but might shed a bit of light. I had my first decent ride yesterday and at the moment am rather underwhelmed. The bb is incredibly low and I kept whacking the pedals in fairly shallow ruts, in fact the inside pedal dragged on the road if you weren’t quick enough to lift the inside crank. Don’t know if this would apply to 27.5 frames. Yes it is fast and climbs well but feels like an tanker in the tighter stuff. Suspension action is good. All in all I wish I had gone for the 27.5!

I rented the “2” version out in New Zealand and it was great fun.

Initially felt rather huge/long, even though the cockpit fit me well.

Was really stable and confidence inspiring, and I was able to chuck it into some tight twists just fine.

I only had about 7 hours on it but it was pretty awesome, I was sold by the end of my ride.

It’s on my shortlist for next bike, put it that way.

I rented the “1” for a day in Whistler last week and I liked it. I was just wondering what the kit on the “3” was like.
