I have a garmin edge 200 which im looking to also use for running as im having problems keeping an constant pace. does anyone know if there is a watch strap that fits the garmin edge 200

or if not could anyone confirm if the garmin edge 200 mount is there same as any other models (500, 800 etc) to help me try and find one

Mount for 200, 500 and 800 are the same never seen a watch strap but with a spare plastic mount and a canvas watch strap should be simple to make/badge one.

They are the same, a bit chunky though IMO

It works quite well, despite being mounted at 90 degrees to where you'd want it.

For running I find it best to set the autolap to every KM/Mile, as then you'll get a good idea of the pace your going at.

I was planning on doing that with my 200 but I found the unit itself rubbish for running: Both distance and ascent statistics were quite a long way out. Oh, and the calorie estimator was way way out.

I ended up buying s Forerunner 210 which is perfect.
