Riding along ladybower last night there were literally hundreds and hundreds of frogs all over the trails. Everywhere. Frogs crouched down, frogs standing up, frogs hopping, frogs crawling, frogs croaking, frogs being quiet, and a massive number of frogs humping.

    They were everywhere.

Now instead of ploughing through regardless and creating Resevoir Frogs, ( 8) ) progress was very slow. How long does it last? (frog spawning season, not the act itself)

You were hanging about in the countryside taking photos of amphibians at it? Is this activity call 'frogging'?

They're toads coming out of hibernation. I went night riding round there about this time last year and you couldn't move for them.
They hibernate up on the hillsides then move down into the reservoir in spring. Usually about 2-3 weeks of frog-littered trails.
