My local hardware shop has just closed…so does anyone know the spec of the bolts you can use to fill the empty holes left when you remove V brake bosses from forks and frames?

I’m after M10 bolts, in black, but I understand there are 2 thread types and I’m not sure how I can tell which ones I need.

M10x1 AFAIK

There are four different thread pitches in M10
From memory, M10x1 ^^ is the same as a derailleur hanger, try a spare mech in the thread (gently)
You can buy a variety of suitable screws, just make sure that they are threaded all the way to the head

Thanks chaps. When searching I came across someone selling what looks like the right ones on ebay so I bought a couple of pairs and I’ll see how I get on.
