Watched this tonight and I was very pleasantly surprised. It’s filmed very well and so god damn tense. The music is ace in it. Quality sci fi viewing.

but quite predictable

Its a thriller rather than pure SciFi. The essence of a Hitchcock thriller is the audience knows what’s going to happen just before the protagonist. This film does that well.

I saw it in the cinema and liked it. Cracking first effort from Alex Garland.

Predictable, weakly scripted, modest acting, gratuitously shot. Mediocre at best.

Really enjoyed it, thought the acting was fine I also liked Gleeson in ‘Frank’

Agreed on everything except the music IMHO thought GB was trying his best to be Mogwai & not doing a v good job.
