The kids are finally old / good enough to justify taking with me on the easter sunshine bike trip.

I usually head out to Sierra cycles who are very good (free plug!)
but wondered if any of you had experience of taking kids on guided mountain bike holidays to france, spain, etc. We need to be home for the easter weekend so just looking for 5 days either side of it.

My two boys are 6 and 11, riding all but the hardest bits of red routes at glentress and wolftrax. I think the big problem is going to be finding a small 24″ wheeler for the little’un.

    All ideas / suggestions welcome.
    Cheers

I tried to find somewhere to go with my son ( 7 at the time) I was looking for an uplifted trip. It’s hard as most places are worried about the potential difference in speed between a youngster and the rest of their clients. Places that seemed willing were lavatrax and riviera bike. You are unlikely to find anywhere that has decent 24 inch bikes to hire.
