    User serviceability will be the final deciding factor – choice is between – Fox 36 Talas RC2 or . Rock Shox Lyrik coil U-turns.

    Is it possible to do a full DIY service of Fox 36 Talas RC2 forks?
    From what I gather it is not.
    I realize seals, oil etc can be done no problem – but what about bushings + other bits?

    I have been able to fully service + strip both Rock Shox + Manitou forks in the past with no problems.

    I understand it is possible to service the damping side of 36’s but with a sealed bladder etc I wouldn’t fancy trying it. Bushes require a special tool as well AFAIK.
