Good stuff, how much have you lost already? It is, after all, the most superest lifestyle/diet/fatloss/low carb with carb diet on the market, isn't it?
Good luck and enjoy.

I am on week 2. Lost 7 lbs already & feel great. Ignore the ****ts. Oh, and I bought a Nespresso machine yesterday which I can thoroughly recommend!

I do like an onion bhaji! What's the definitive answer on tomatoes? Are they in or out? Lots of our casserole recipies are tomato based.

I have been sticking super rigidly to this for a couple of weeks now. Not a morsel has passed my lips that shouldn't have.

I weigh about 2lb more than I did when I started, but I feel better. Much, much better.

I am doing weights, but only just started the stronglifts program, so with the weights I am lifting there is no way the weight gain can be attributed to muscle.

I'm going to keep it up because I find on my days off I feel sluggish after bread/junk.

Oh - and tomatoes are in, and cauliflower rice is a revelation. I am cooking every night now as i love experimenting with what I can do with my pulses!

If you make the bhaji batter really thin (and chop the onion/chillis/etc up finely) you can use it to make tasty savoury pancakes!

Could you use Spelt flour?

Or peasemeal (sp?) Ground split peas, does the same job as Gram flour.

I'd probably give spelt flour a wide berth, but I was looking for, and found them in Tesco, split peas at the weekend. I might give them a go.

Hmmm interested in this ...?
So do you still have restricted carbs while cycling or post ride ???

It's just that when I went on a low carb diet years ago I had no energy for cycling .......so had to kick it into touch (though I did loose a stone in weight )

It's not a ****ing (in caps) 'low carb' diet

But, you can have sugary and starchy carbs during and after rides rides more than 75 mins.

Lost 3.5lb in week one. Feel so less bloated that I reckon I must have a yeast or wheat intolerence or something.

IDave..... Didn't mean to offend
I didn't say it was a low carb diet ..
It's just that looking at it quickly it looks like I ( me personally that is ) would be cutting out a lot of carbs from MY daily diet ..

I must look into sugary starchy carbs then ( do you have any examples ?)

yes you did

So do you still have restricted carbs while cycling or post ride ???

The idea is you cut out shit carbs and replace with other less shit carbs. If you're riding hard for more than 75 mins or so you can have energy drinks, bars/gels etc during rides and immediately after. If you want to lose fat, I wouldn't bother.

TSY, you're supposed to take simple carbs if you're training. During and after. You need more protein the rest of the time, not carbs.

The diet in it's purest form is for biffers who aren't training as much as peeps like you.

Don't call me a biffer just because I don't do 3 hours training a day!

what kind of portion sizes are you guys doing with this diet? Larger than usual to fill up?

I'm gonna give it a go i could do with shifting a 1/2 stone or so, but my diet generally consists of cereal with milk, coffee with milk, sandwich, crisps, fruit for lunch and pasta or rice for dinner! All off the menu!

That's what I've aimed for and have had to start using protein shakes to supplement my diet.

Might be failing to get the simple carbs after my lunchtime work as I tend to eat a proper iDiet meal instead.

Hmmm.

Will it now be known as iBiffer?

And will there be no copyright probs with a TSY diet to be known as iThree Hour Body. Its catchy, possibly a bestseller. ๐Ÿ™‚

I reckon it's because most of the biffers will pretend that 60mins of exercise is really about 75 minutes, so that they can justify that extra slice of battenburg.
