It’s my birthday tomorrow.. now I’m no druid.. but I very much like the way all those pagan types come out in force to celebrate my life..

I’ve got to admit that I feel more of an afinity with the old nature worshipping ways than I do with the new fangled religions and I’m more than a little flattered that the crusties view me as their god.. so..

I’ve braved the hordes at Stonehenge in the past but it’s a bit of an ordeal if I’m honest..
The way I understand it Haytor plays host to some cider and drumming and chanting and dancing and whatnot from sunset tonight to welcome in the solstice dawn.. (and the birthday of their spiritual leader of course..)
is anyone planning a (very) early ride out that way to take in some of the festivities and to try and catch a glimpse of the sun as it breaks..?
