If its rainy i wear an veteran pair of sealskinz that arn’t quite waterproof any more but still resist most splashes, otherwise i use the spesh team issue socks, i find them a bit thicker than some so theyre a good 3 season sock.
Though i’ve bought a pair of fox race socks for the rare hot day, they havnt seen use yet though.

Liked the Endura Merino socks but they only lasted about a year. Also got the Alpkit ones and they have been ok so far, not a long term test though so cannot comment on durability. Had some great Merino socks from ON-ONE a few years ago, 3 pairs for a tenner, wish they’d do them again.

Normal “sport” socks or if its a hot day then those free norco ones from mbuk a few years ago seem a bit cooler and don’t get too sweaty.

People seriously wear sealskins regardless of the weather ? Id rather wear no socks than sealskinz most of the wear – like putting a pair of cardboard boxes on your feet then into a pair of plastic bags – which incidently works really well to keep feet dry at puffer – much comfier than sealskinz

Sealskinz when it’s wet (knee length ones are great in the foulest whether combined with 3/4 length trews). Endura otherwise, lightweight or thermo ones depending on temperature.

Amazed at people complaining socks only last a year, a year is a long time in the life of a mountain bike sock.

Assos Winter Plus – when cold, expensive but worth it.

Assos Skin Web – Super thin, very well fitting.

Defeet Aireators – not bad, get a bit warm in them though.

Giro High Rise – Super comfy, good looking summer sock.

Since I ride in my Cat boots, Trespass Merino ones work well.

But the Mrs works there, so it’s all half price.

    Not helpful at all.

These, or CRC’s similar Nukeproof branded ones.

Got some Endura BaaBaas but they seem a little fragile.
