I have a big bike, Specialized Enduro 29er for being clumsy on and wondered about splashing on a bike that is very different and sort of light and racey. What would fit the bill at a cycle scheme friendly £1,000 price point.

List of ideas so far is…

Cube Reaction or Race carbon something or other
On One Lurcher, but it is very ugly

Less sensible and not as racey is the Vitus Sentier 290

    I need ideas

a year ago I got a scott scale 760 on the scheme. The whyte hardtails were also a possibility

Boardman pro 29er is just under a grand and quite tidy.
