  • Cycle to Work Scheme in Edinburgh – which bike (for actual commuting…)?

I had in mind a Bike Co-op Nexus for minimum fuss commuting, but my work are being difficult about using the Co-op – they have signed up to another scheme.

I am attracted by the idea of an internal hub for commuting through the gutters of the city, but what else should I consider? Probably looking at a £500 upper limit.

    Cheers, dudes.

TBC – what do you have?

£599. Bit over budget but i dont think we do anything below it.

Long term the Nexus goes a bit iffy between 4/5 (the gearing changes over at that point inside)otherwise good system.

You should blow your budget completely and get a Surly Cross Check. thanks me later!
