Not what they used to be. Not had one for years but decided to pick one up at the till in Asda tonight, chocolate shell used to be really thick. Gutted.

Its like tins of chocolate at Christmas. Used to take an hour to get thru one but nowadays it takes me 20 minutes.
So of course i have to buy more. Very annoying.

Agreed- it used to be a struggle to get into one sometimes!
But they’re probably one of the few things that I’ll actually sometimes pick up on impulse when places have them right by the till. Oddly though I probably wouldn’t list them as one of my favourites otherwise.

At school I knocked a friend out with a creme egg.
He was hiding behind a bin in the playground and decided to pop his head up at the wrong time 🙂

Try putting your creme eggs in the freezer for a few hours. It’s a taste sensation! And you don’t get icky fingers eating em.

I’ll fight anyone who bad-mouths creme eggs.

Had 3 the other day. And a bar of dairy milk (only a small one mind, I’m not a pig).

But I will warn you – I am armed – a box of six bought for my wife. I will scatter them on the floor at your feet and when you scrabble around to get to them, kick you in the goolies.

I still like them, but they are skimping on the armour plating!
