There should be four levels of light output. Low, mid, high. You cycle through these by pressing the button. What does yours do? To access flash press and hold the button, but the flash is completely pointless. The 3 leds on the back show battery level, what do yours show? After their success last year there are lots of copies floating around. If they were super cheap you might have got duff ones. TBH the quality of the originals was always a bit hit and miss, most people got good ones but not everyone. If you got them on eBay just return for a full refund.
