being a tight, stubborn sod, i have always carried out most of my own spannering, however i think iv’e met my match in the clutch on the clio.
anyone done this? do i have to get the engine out? am looking on other forums, but this is the oracle, after all.

Hire a engine lift take engine out is the easiest way for getting access. Most small fwd motors can be done at a squeeze by moving gear box over after taking drive shaft out and removing the mounts etc but its a pain in the arse.
