  • Can I run Mac OS X on a PC

So I quite fancy having a go a writing an app for the iphone but unfortunately I’m a Windows/PC guy and the development kit is only available on OS X.

    So…

Is it possible to install OS X on a virtual machine on my Windows PC?

Or maybe do a dual boot?

You can’t do it “officially”, but I know of people who have done it successfully.

From what I’m told, the hardware guide on the OSX86 project website is a god send. Also, have heard the little Samsung NC10 Notebooks work with little or no modifications, which really fills a gap in the market as far as I’m concerned (MacBookAir is a bit of an expensive joke really).

I’d probably just want to run it on a virtual machine, which according to that site seems to work (for certain version of VMWare and the OS anyway).
