Yeah, I've been. It's OK, nothing more than that. Yes they do take campers, and have electric hook ups

We stayed there for 3 nights last June, probably the hottest four days of all last summer. it was a bit grim with the midges. We were there sunday to Wednesday and the campsite was reasonably quiet, I'd imagine it's a bit of a zoo on a summer weekend. You can ride along the old railway (now a cycle and walk way) to the pub in the village. The facilities are ok.

I think it's a cool place to be. Right by the trails, excellent cafe selling good food and booze, bike shop, lot's of like minded people all around you. What's not to like ?

Stayed there in May in the van with a hook up on hard standing.

The cafe is superb – great food, cold beer & sofas. Just what you need.
