  • Brake pads for steel chrome rims?

    My Mrs has just been given an old road bike that I’m in the process of cleaning up, it has steel chrome rims and I’m wondering if there are any rim brake pads that might work on such a surface?
    The ones currently fitted have a suspicious lack of wear on them……
