Anyone know how wide a 26" 2.2 Bontrager XR4 TLR tyre measures up. I guess what I'm asking is narrow, normal or large…

They are equivalent to specialized or new generation maxxis. I have them on my bike. Really good in corners and fast rolling in the centre but as a result not the vast grip on wet edges like steps.

They come up pretty big but roll fast.

I'm thinking of investing hard earned cash in a set of Bontrager XR4 26" x2.2 tyres but would welcome advice on whether to go for the 120TPI (foldable/tubeless ready) version or the 60TPI (wire) version. Huge difference in price, so is the extra justifiable given I wont be running them tubeless? Also, would it be a good tyre to use on the Sussex South Downs? Need a tyre for Spring to Autumn that will climb well and be tough enough to cope with varied conditions.
