are blu ray players available in multi region format?
i just bought a blu ray player and realised it doesnt play a load of dvd’s i have from other regions. can the blu ray be modified to play dvds from other regions?? can i do the mods myself??

when I bought my Oppo there was a £40 hardware kit that made it multiregion.

Not Blue Ray admittedly, but our Phillips DVD player was UK only. But theres a series of button presses which got me into the hardware menu and you just change it to be region free.
Our Samsung TV can be told its a different model by going into the service menu and then you can play mpegs etc via USB
