Hi guys and girls,

Has anyone got or used one of these Bionicon v2 chainguides?
I run 3 rings on the front crank but regularly loose the chain on rough descents (hardtail)

Any pics would also be a help!

I don't think I've ever owned a bike it'd be compatible with- it needs a bike with the gear cable running under the chainstay, right? Weird place to put a cable.

you don't need to have a cable running along the underside of the chainstay. you can connect it using cable ties.

i bodged one a few years ago for the GF's bike using a short length of hose and three cable ties. it does the job admirably, but looks a bit shit. the bionicon one looks smarter, but is pricey....

Got one fitted, not ridden it yet (O-O 456). Seems to shift through the gears fine though, and it's tiny!

From what I have read since my first post, its the V1 that "needed" the cable on the underside of the chainstay but the V2 doesent.

I would be intrested to hear how it holds up on a ride!
