Just received house insurance renewal . The whole total is slightly higher , Buildings has come down a fair whack as has Contents . But last year 6 bikes were insured for £67.05 next year the same equivalent number of bikes will now be an eye watering £312.97 !!!! I’m thinking last year was amazingly low and next year is amazingly high ? Talked to Saga the insurers apparently the underwriters they are using next year have a different view on certain risks . So the question is can I insure the bikes any cheaper ? Total sum insured for 6 bikes £12062 .
