Please be aware that this guy has scammed both me and another out of money, by selling goods taking the money via paypal GIFT and not sending said item.
Payment went to a Gillian Mcfaden!!

Mods if it could be arranged, to delete him from the forum.
Just want people to learn from our mistakes.Do not paypal asa gift.

[b]UPDATE:

Forgot to add, goods arrived from John (kane10255) and all ok.

As far as paypal gift goes it's on your own head but that doesn't mean others shouldn't be warned about a thief sharading as one of the many many many good people that operate on this forum.
Cheers for the heads up.

It's true, didn't heed the PayPal Gift warning and I'm now paying the price. Can blame no one but myself, but crewsader only trying to warn others. He shouldn't be flamed!

PayPal fees are approx. £2 for every £50 - worth the extra for peace of mind.

I've got to admit, I do sell a lot on here & most folk are happy to pay by gift.

But im honest & sell quality stuff.

crewsader your shorts have been packed ready to go but unless you reply to your emails requesting address I am not liable for that error on your behalf. Hence I am not a scammer! Just email your address to
kane10255@gmail.com

It's obvious John Rowland you're not a scammer, though you do only seem to use STW to sell stuff on!

Original poster - jumping the gun here instead of communicating? Emails going into spam folders?

i have sent gift payments to 95% of the purchases ive made on here in the last 5 years and must of spent 4-6k and happy to say i have never been ripped off. i was sold some brakes that where not what they where advertised to be and had to wait a good while for a refund but happy to say thats about the worst of it on this site. i do know it happens but a quick scan of sellers history and time served and its generally pretty easy to see if they are kosher.

FFS - dont PPal gift unless you know the person, its v.v.tempting though to try and waive the fees...but like others have said, its only a few extra £ for every £100 you spend on here!

ah, the old 'r' and 'n' in close proximity on a small screen reading error.

does sound like the paypal address of the OP is not the one they usually use so weren't checking?

Crewsader - the word you're looking for is 'sorry'. You may also consider '... for defaming you on a public forum'
