    What decent saddles are out there that offer a wide front for getting your weight forward when climbing?

    A wide nose isn’t necessarily what I’d advise for that, moreover, slightly wider but mostly longer. For years I’ve used an OnOne Big Nose which gives room to get your arse to the front of the bike for climbing on my LT Hardtail. They were very well reviewed and one best value in the mags a few years ago. And they are sub £20 I think.

    Not sure of any others.

    Selle Italia SLR TT / T1 or whatever the current time trial version of the SLR is.
