Had a classic for years then it seemed to scale up and nothing could help. Thinking of buying another one but anything to consider in a similar price range?

No not a cubika(sp) that was utterly woeful.

I got a Baby Twin from here as the prices were good at the time and it came bundled with 6 packs of Segafredo coffee and 4 cups.

I’m selling my Gaggia “Coffee” if that’s of interest?

My mum’s Cuisinart is much better and also cheaper.

Had a classic for a few years. Replaced it with a Gaggia Baby Class which is the next model up. Comments in no particular order:

    * Looks nicer than the Classic, especially if you get the Class version which is all metal

    * Much easier to refill the water container

    * Easier to clean the drip tray

    * Steamer nozzle is on a pivot so you can easily get a jug underneath to froth milk

    * Seems more powerful in actual use, even though the quoted bar is the same

Apart from the Gaggia cube (I think – the cheapest one) all the others have the same internals, I’m told.
