Currently running Sram Carbon Cranks which are BB30.

The new Hope Cranks are a 30mm axle. Will it bolt straight on with the current SRAM BB. Correct width etc.

On another note, my sram cranks would be going onto an orange five, which currently has a 24mm shimano bb. If I was to get the new Hope 30mm screw in BB. Would these sram cranks bolt straight on?

Ring Hope to fully confirm but I think yes and yes. I have a pair of the Hope cranks on my Scott Scale which is a std BB91 size shell. Hope fitted them for me though so I could say what needed to be done to get them on.

Here’s the fitting instructions with dimensions etc so you can measure up and see if they’ll fit.

BB30 is a narrower axle so you couldn’t just fit the Hope crank to a BB30 BB, without additional adaptors.

And AFAIK – at least in road applications, BB30 cranks won’t fit on non-BB30 frame.
