In recognition of the fact that some of you rarely venture outside the forum and onto our content pages (where, you may be surprised to discover, there are quite a few articles about bicycles) we thought we’d highlight the fact there is an upcoming event with Ned Overend. Those of you who are here for the plumbing advice may be unaware that Ned is a bona fide mountain biking legend.

The event is on 13th October in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, UK, and is free. All you need to do to register is to submit your question for Ned – and if you’re lucky it might get asked on the night!

Brilliant evening, meeting some heroes can be an anti climax not so deadly.. stuffed full of free beer and pork pies Ned provided the audience with an insight into his career and a clear view of bike development since the mid 80’s.

a true gent a genuine ambassador and all the hero i thought he was back in the late 80’s
