Bought one of these last week from Merlin as i wanted a basic computer with Altimeter and Gradient features and this fitted the bill.

Could not get it to work at all (no display appearing at all) so sent it back. Merlin sent me a replacement super quick but this one is exactly the same and is definitely not the same computer i returned.(I’ve tried changing the battery in case it was dead but makes no difference).

Before i return this one, am i doing something wrong? I have loads of other Cateye computers on other bikes and they’ve always been fine.

Lots of online searches shows it to be a fiddly unit to set up properly but i can’t even get any display to begin trying.

Any suggestions/experiences please? Ta
