following my other thread, about buying a bmx,in a moment of madness (well still to get it yet).would very much appreciate any tips/suggestions as to where to start with learning skills.
i only have plans to try and garner some sort of basic bike skills (the usual things, wheelie, bunnyhop getting some air) i have no intention of trying anything gnar (backflips/front flips, any type of flips e.t.c 😆
    many thanks 🙂
i am very embarrassed as i have never learned how to so much as wheelie (am 37 😳

Personally I’d head down the BMX track first. Get used to pumping the bike to retain speed, how it feels in the air (you’ll get a bit of it even if you don’t want to) and how the bike handles. Surface is slightly more forgiving than a concrete skate park (or metal ramps – when was that ever a good idea) and you’ll find there will be a few less moody Emo’s down there snarling at you.
