Wife needs some help geting workbooks to cross pollinate fields(not sure of correct trems?)
Her work involves a number of workbooks which have the same info recorded in them. What she wants to do is have the fileds update automatically when one workbook is being done rather than having to update manually all the other work books.
    Make sense?

I think the way to do it simply is to put an equals sign in the cell in question, then click the cell in the "source" worksheet and hit enter.

    Something along those lines anyway.

Open both worbooks click cell where you want to data to go and type = in the formula bar then go to the cell in the other workbook and click the cell. Hit enter and the formula should reference the cell and pick up the data required.

if it is simple one cell is the same as another cell then put =(cell X) in the cell you want to set equal.

The alternative ways involve V/Hlookup or Index Match, depends on what you are trying to achieve.
